Forgive me oh saints of sailing, I have sinned and submitted to the dark side of sailing...

I gave into the 1 foot seduction and entered into a contract of of purchased with a larger boat. That in itself is not my great sin.  It is the giving into the lust of two, two hulls! Yes, I have been seduced into the realm of Catamaran.
I have tasted the fruit of multihulls...and it was good.
The mind is strong , but the flesh is weak. My only defense is I am still under 31ft. Forgive I have sinned, and like it.

Thnx, Yes, Iroquois Mk II. 30 ft.

The wife really likes it. Tacks well, Sails close haul better than many CATs. Standing head room in the platoons, not in the main saloon. Shower, over-sized rigging. A couple  have circumnavigated. Most sail in the North Atlantic.
The few in the states have for the most part been sailed over.

Still working out all the transfer stuff hope to have everything complete end of the month. Needs some minor work and reinforcing at the centerboards, otherwise sound boat.

My boat was taken as part payment to be resold.

She looks beautiful, Zen.

And, no, it's not quite the dark side.

My mooring neighbor, who has sailed and raced catboats all his life, just came home with a Cape Dory 28 Trawler--a beautiful boat for what it is. THAT's the dark side.

BTW, he had two knee replacements and back surgery last winter and figures if he wants to stay on the water, he's got to go trawler. Better a power boat than no boat at all.
