Laura out driving again. She looks pretty cold. Well from what I understand the sun came out and they have the sails up.

We did, we did-we had sails up. Sun did come out and I have shorts and a short sleeve shirt on for the first time since Dec 3rd when we left to go to Texas.

We are on a mooring ball in Ft Myers Bch. First folks we met were from Palacios Tx-across the bay from us, and a friend of Grime's from Port O'Conner(where Grime lives)

nice place so far Grin

Looks like they are snug as a bug in a rug in their new anchorage.

Naples is kinda out of your way- but a good place to rest from the winds...

We're about 4 miles above Marco Island. plan to hang here for a day and  do some fishing Smiley

Then stop to pick up a couple of things at the Winn-Dixie in Marco and out to the 10K Islands.

We'll probably be out of cell phone range for several weeks then.

Got these this morning from Laura. No note but why write when you are enjoying this so much.

Have a great time and looking forward to hearing all about 10,000 islands.

Happy Birthday Charlie.

A note and update from Laura.

We'll be heading up the Big Marco River on the rising tide tomorrow. Thought I might buy CJ a birthday dinner at Goodland before we head into the wilderness of the Ten Thousand Island

Thanks David.

Gray and gloomy here this am. Cool north wind blowing. As L said, we are waiting for the tide. Some shoaling reported in the river just past the bridge and we want to run that channel on a rising tide- close to a 3 foot tide range here.
